Why Shonda Rhimes' Shows Powerful Black Woman as a Mistress or Attached to White Men?
Ever heard the saying: Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Well, that's how the Black community feels towards  screenwriter, Shonda Rhimes. Don't know who Shonda Rhimes is? I'm glad you asked. Ms. Rhimes is a  African American screenwriter, director, and producer.

Rhimes is best known as the creator, head writer, executive producer and showrunner of the medical drama television series Grey's Anatomy, its spin-off Private Practice and political thriller series Scandal. In May 2007, Rhimes was named one of TIME magazine's 100 people who help shape the world. Rhimes was an executive producer for the medical drama series Off the Map which aired on ABC for one season in 2011. Recently, Rhimes serves as executive producer for ABC's new legal series How to Get Away with Murder, which debuted September 25, 2014.

The Black community is very, very, proud of Ms. Rhimes especially because she's a Black  woman that has broken the glass ceiling for African Americans in the television arena. Yes! We can not express how delightful we are of this. Although, the Black community maybe joyous that a Black woman has paved the way for other Black people in the screenwriting industry, STILL there are questions that Black's would like to ask Ms. Rhimes. Today, Shonda Rhimes is known in every Black household in America as the most popular screenwriter that is Black. Sadly to say, you wouldn't be able to distinguish her ethnicity if we hadn't told you, because her show's clearly discredit the Black woman. Don't quite understand what I'm saying?
