#BlackOut Friday Weekend Sales Sunk By $5.2 Million from Last Year

#BlackOut Friday Weekend Sales Sunk By $5.2 Million from Last Year

Surveys want to say that Black Friday sales dropped by over $5 million dollars due to other issues but we believe the #BlackOutBoycott had a lot to do with it too. They can try and discredit that black folks can't stop shopping or slow down on shopping due to the Ferguson verdict but there has been too protests and boycotts going on to try and deny that we can make a impact.

Read below on their "supposed" survey.
Overall, 133.7 million people shopped in stores and online over the four-day weekend, down 5.2 percent from last year, according to a survey of 4,631 people conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics for the trade group.
Total spending for the weekend is expected to fall 11 percent to $50.9 billion from an estimated $57.4 billion last year, the trade group estimated.
Part of the reason is that Target, J.C. Penney, Macy's, Wal-Mart and other major retailers pushed fat discounts as early as Halloween. Some opened stores even earlier on Thanksgiving. All that stole some thunder from Black Friday and the rest of the weekend.
Still, the preliminary data makes retailers worried that shoppers remain frugal despite improving employment and falling gas prices.

Ferguson #BlackOutBoycotts and Protests To Continue Nationwide

Upon the start of 'Blackout For Human Rights’, protestors will continue their nationwide action and united retail boycott far beyond this past Black Friday. Its all about hitting white retailers where it hurts and matters the most: THEIR POCKETBOOKS.

We have to make a statement that maters now. No more of the same old demonstrations. We need to do more than marching, yelling and screaming that we receive justice. It's time to remove the selfishness and refrain from utilizing our $1 trillion dollars of black spending power and put that money where it is useful.

Amidst the Ferguson grand jury decision to refuse to indict a white cop of some responsibilities for an unarmed black teens death ans excessive force is the most inhumane thing any citizen, black of white could do to another person.

Since their are several instances of this same kind of injustices, black folks need to mobilize and STOP spending money in these corporate stores that do nothing but keep us bound and ineffective in our own communities and for our future.

Stand up and make a difference. #BlackOutBoycotts

Police Officer On Trial Darren Wilson Get No Indictment for Killing Mike Brown

Police Officer On Trial Darren Wilson Get No Indictment for Killing Mike Brown

UPDATE: We were just informed that there were 12 grand jurors: 6 white males, 3 white women, 2 black women and 1 black man and only 9 votes were needed for their decision. Obviously, this cancels out the 3 blacks who may have, most likely have voted for an indictment. 9 said "NO" and that's a wrap. "No Justice, No Peace" said all the looters who looted and burned down several stores near the Ferguson police department and other areas.

Report below:

We all knew this. We all knew that this Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson would walk away and see no charges against him for shooting and killing Michael Brown. We knew it and we hope that people have become aware that this is what America does in these cases. We just hate that the young man was robbing a store and happened to get killed by a cop on that day.
NY Times reported:
A St. Louis County grand jury has brought no criminal charges against Darren Wilson, a white police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown, an unarmed African-American teenager, more than three months ago in nearby Ferguson.
At a news conference, the St. Louis County prosecutor, Robert P. McCulloch, said that members of the grand jury deliberated for more than two days before finding that no probable cause existed to file charges against Officer Wilson.
The decision set off a new wave of anger among hundreds who gathered outside the Ferguson Police Department. Police in riot gear stood in a line as demonstrators chanted and threw signs and other objects toward them as the news spread. One woman said: “The system failed us again.”
Mr. Brown’s family issued a statement expressing sadness but calling for peaceful protest and a campaign for body cameras on police officers nationwide. “We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions,” the statement said. “While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen.”
